Our Mission

Care that carries a child all the way to independence.

Mission Statement

To rescue, raise, and prepare vulnerable children for a self-sufficient future.

Our Mission is to Create, a safe and nurturing environment where every child can grow, learn and reach their full potential regardless of their background or circumstances.

We measure our success not by the number of children we shelter, but by the number who graduate into adulthood equipped, confident, and connected to a support system that outlasts their time with us.

Vision Statement

"A world where every child has a family to belong to, and a future they were never told to doubt."

To Create a conducive home for orphaned and vulnerable children where they are nurtured into responsible adults

Vision In Practice

How our vision shapes daily life at Royal Palm.

Belonging First

Every child grows up in a family-style setting, not an institution — with the same adults present through both the hard days and the milestones.

Equal Opportunity

A difficult start should never limit a child's future. We ensure equal access to education, healthcare, and mentorship for every child in our care.

Generational Change

Children who grow up secure and supported are more likely to raise secure, supported children of their own — this is how cycles break.

Our Core Values

The principles behind every decision we make.

Compassion

We meet every child exactly where they are, without judgment of the circumstances that brought them to us.

Integrity

We do what we say we'll do — for the children in our care and for every donor who trusts us with their gift.

Transparency

Open books, open reporting, and open doors. Our supporters always know where their generosity goes.

Protection

The safety and dignity of every child comes first, guiding every policy, hire, and partnership we make.

Founder of Royal Palm Orphanage

About The Founder

A promise made to seven children in 2009 — kept ever since.

Royal Palm Orphanage was founded by Loveth phillips Oke, a former primary school teacher who grew frustrated watching students arrive hungry, unsupervised, and without anyone to advocate for them. She opened the doors of her own home to seven children with nowhere else to go — the first act in what has become a fifteen-year commitment to vulnerable children across Lagos.

Today, as Founder and Executive Director, Loveth still visits every residence each week, still knows every child by name, and still holds the organization to the same standard she set on day one: that a child's circumstances should never define their future.

"I didn't set out to build an organization. I set out to make sure seven children went to bed safe. Everything since has simply been refusing to stop."

— MRS LOVETH PHILIPS OKE, Founder & Executive Director

Making A Lasting Difference

We stay with a child long after they leave our gates.

Our commitment doesn't end at graduation. We continue mentoring, and where needed, financially supporting former residents as they pursue further education or start their careers — because true impact is measured in decades, not headlines.
